大開口するテーパ壁面に形成する一方、該継手本体に螺
合される締付ナツトの内周面を継手本体開口端部側のテ
ーパ壁面と互いに相対するテーパ壁面に形成するととも
に、これら両テーパ壁面間に被接続パイプの差込み端部
外周に遊嵌された薄肉な金属製スリーブを挟着配置し、
かつ該スリーブの両端を前記締付ナツトの締付けに伴っ
て前記パイプの外周面に喰込ませるよ・ うに塑性
変形させてなる構成を有し、互いに相対する継手本体と
締付ナツトとの両テーパ壁面をテーパ角度が継手本体側
よりも締付ナツト側が大なるように異なる左右非対称形
に形成し、かつ前記スリーブの締付ナツト側端部の肉厚
を継手本体側端部よりも厚くして該スリーブ両端の塑性
変形量を等しくした管継手において、前記継手本体の開
口端部側内周面に前記被接続パイプの差込み端部が嵌合
する環状溝を設けて２重管構造にしたことを特徴とする
