As is well known, picture frames are widely used to display paintings, photographs, etc., and are made from relief-shaped plaster and are used as interior decoration items such as wall hangings.

BACKGROUND ART Conventionally, picture frames have been known that are entirely made of wood, or that are made of wood and covered with plaster with a complicated pattern attached to it.

However, such picture frames have the disadvantages that it is virtually impossible to add a complicated pattern to the picture frame, that the manufacturing work of the picture frame is complicated, and that the manufacturing cost is high.

On the other hand, constructing the entire picture frame with plaster has the advantage that a desired pattern can be easily applied to the picture frame, but fixing the picture frame with fixing tools such as nails is virtually impossible because the plaster may crack. Even if it is possible, or even if the fixing device is attached to the plaster, it has the disadvantage that it cannot withstand long-term use because the fixing device does not firmly adhere to the plaster, so it has not been put into practical use until now. It was not provided.

In addition, the reliefs are made of plaster, but since they are made of plaster alone, they are heavy, and the plaster and the fixtures embedded in the plaster that are used to fix it to the interior walls do not firmly adhere to each other.
There was a problem in that the fixed portions became loose after long-term use.

The ratio of gypsum and wood flour to be used is not particularly limited, and can be varied over a wide range depending on the intended use of the composition, but generally they are used in approximately equal volumes.

The proportion of the adhesive to be used is not particularly limited either, but if it is too small, the effects of the present invention cannot be fully exhibited, and if it is too large, the specific gravity will increase, which is undesirable, so it imparts stickiness to the plaster and wood powder. It is preferable that the amount of adhesive is at most 1/4 of the total amount of gypsum, wood flour, and adhesive.

Since the composition of the present invention contains wood flour and an adhesive, the plaster is reinforced, so even if the fixture is buried or fixed by nailing, the part to which the fixture is fixed will remain intact. Stains and cracks in plaster are effectively suppressed.

In order to produce a picture frame or a relief from the composition thus obtained, for example, a plate-shaped body made of wood is placed in a mold that is provided with a desired pattern or shape, and then After the composition has been injected and the composition has solidified, the molded product can be taken out of the mold, and in this way a picture frame or relief of a desired shape with a plate-shaped body integrally fixed to the back surface can be obtained. The plate-shaped body laminated on the back side does not necessarily have to be made of wood as mentioned above, but it is more convenient to use wood when fixing it indoors by nailing.

In order to paint the picture frame or relief obtained using the composition of the present invention, known painting techniques conventionally used for picture frames can be applied. For example, after spraying with lacquer, gold and silver foil can be applied.

The composition thus obtained is molded in a mold for picture frames or reliefs, and a wooden board is fixed to the back surface of the picture frame or relief. It can be firmly fixed to the fixed member of
Moreover, no cracks appeared on the plaster surface at all. Furthermore, even if a fixture is buried in the plaster at the same time as the molding, the fixture will firmly adhere to the plaster. There was no risk of the parts that were attached to the unit becoming loose.

As described above, since the composition of the present invention uses gypsum as a base material, it is possible to easily impart a desired shape or pattern to a picture frame or relief. Because of this, picture frames and reliefs obtained from the composition can be firmly fixed with fixing tools such as nails, and since wood flour is mixed in, they are lightweight, and picture frames can be made using inexpensive materials. The applicant for the patent has many advantages such as reducing the manufacturing cost of these products because the reliefs can be easily manufactured.1) Hitoshi Inagaki, Patent Attorney, Gen Nakamoto 4th Department
