Claims

A cylindrical rotor that is set eccentrically in the pump housing and driven to rotate, an opening formed to extend in the axial direction at a position that divides this rotor into rotational force, and a shaft that passes through each of these openings and is driven to rotate. A plurality of vanes are rotatable at the center, and a pair of vane shoes are provided at respective openings of the rotor so as to be in sliding contact with both sides of the vanes passing through the openings. An oil-free vane pump characterized in that a sliding contact member made of a material with low frictional resistance and high heat resistance is embedded in the contact surface with the vane pump.
