該開口部より該保持部材の該U字状溝内に介挿されて該
各磁気ヘッドを個別に被包する一対のシールドケースと
、該保持部材のU字状溝内において該一対のシールドケ
ース間に介挿された非磁性材料の分離板とより構成して
なるため、該記録用及び再生用磁気ヘッドは、該一対の
シールドケースにより夫々個別に略完全に密閉的に被包
され・且つ該各シールドケースは該分離板により磁気的
に遮断されるため、各磁気ヘッドは極めて良好にシール
ドされ、記録用磁気ヘッドのフィートスルーは実測によ
れば一50dB以下となり該再生用磁気ヘッドに悪影響
を及ぼすことなく、又保持部材の両外側面を平行研磨仕
上げして該各磁気ヘッドのギャップ形成面を得ることl
こより、組付調整の必要なく4易に該両磁気ヘッドのギ
ャップ溝相互の平行精度をえることができ、しかも保持
部材形成時に機械加工精度のみで該各ギャップ溝の相互
高さ位置精度を正確に出しておくことEこより、両磁気
ヘッドのギャップ高さ位置を正確にすることができ、更
に構成も比較的簡単で且つ該各シールドケースは単にか
ぶせて増付けるのみでよぐ製造及び単性工数を低減しつ
る等の特長を有するものである。
