Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable to perform a monitoring excluding an unstable vibration condition at a starting and a stopping time from decision of a trouble, by a method wherein, in a device which decides a trouble on a rotary machine based on a condition amount of vibration, a starting and a stopping signal of a controller for the rotary machine is utilized. CONSTITUTION:An operating condition of a rotary machine 1 is detected by vibration detectors 3a-3n, the result is amplified by amplifiers 4a-4n, and after an unnecessary signal is removed by filters 5a-5n, the result is inputted through an A/D converter 6 to a processor 7 where various processings are conducted to output results to a display device 8. In case a trouble occurs, an alarm is issued by an alarm device 9. In case vibration is monitored, an operation to suspend a processing only during a time matching with the properties of the rotary machine is performed at a starting and a stopping time by means of an ON and OFF signal from a controller 2. This permits the rotary machine to be brought under a monitoring condition for the duration of a time during which the rotary machine is unstable in terms of vibration at a starting and a stopping times of the rotary machine, and prevents an unnecessary alarm from being sounded.
