Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve guide of window glass and rigidity of a guide piece, by a method wherein a notch is provided on a glass running channel with a soft lip for up-and-down type windshield glass of a motor car and a glass guide piece made of a hard material manufactured separately is welded on the notch. CONSTITUTION:A notch 13 is formed by piercing a base part 10a of a main body 10A of a channel made of soft viny chloride. A component 16 is formed by molding a base part 14 whose shape of a cross section is about identical with that of the main body 10A and a guide piece 15 to be molded on the tip of the main body 10A in a body with hard vinyl chloride in a body. Then, they are installed by making the component 16 and the guide piece 15 protrude into the notch 13 of the main body 10A and outside a lip part 10c and welding the base part 14 to a glass running channel 10. With this constitution, the guide piece 15 guides window glass into a gap between the lips 10c by striking against the edge of the window glass when the windshield glass to be absorbed to the outside at the time of high speed running of a motor car is closed. Rigidity of the guide piece 15 can be improved and the window glass can be guided reliably by doing in this manner.

When a car is traveling at high speed, the difference in air pressure between the inside and outside of the car causes the window glass 3 to be pulled toward the outside of the car. It will close and become an anchor. Well, traditionally, the first
As shown in FIGS. 31A and 31B, a guide piece 4 is provided to protrude from a predetermined cylindrical position on the vehicle outer side 1b of the glass launch channel 1, and the guide piece 4 is used to guide the window glass 3 to the lip portion 1c of the glass launch channel 1. , lc, but the conventional guide piece 4 is made of the same soft resin as the glass launch channel 1,
Since it is made of rubber, it has some drawbacks as described below.

That is, the strength of the guide piece is low, and the guide piece 4 is
Since the guide piece 4 is easily deformed, the guide piece 4 cannot sufficiently correct the deviation of the window glass 30 toward the outside of the vehicle. For this reason, as shown in FIG. 3, insert molding of the core metal is complicated, and the manufacturing cost is high.

Additionally, in order to eliminate the above-mentioned drawbacks, conventional methods have been seen in which a metal fitting is attached to the window frame and a resin guide piece is integrally molded and attached to this metal fitting, thereby improving the rigidity of the guide piece. However, with a guide piece having such a configuration, there is a risk that rainwater may enter the inside of the vehicle through the gap created between the metal fitting and the window frame, and the metal fitting is required to improve the rigidity of the guide piece. The use of glass launchers/channels has resulted in the problem of increased production costs.

This invention has been made based on the above background, and by integrally molding a hard member in which a base and a guide piece are integrally formed at the required position of a glass launch channel having a soft lip, it is possible to reduce To provide a glass launch channel in which a rigid guide piece for correcting the misalignment of window glass can be easily installed.

A member 1 made of hard vinyl chloride is integrally formed with a tongue-shaped guide piece 15 formed integrally with the side heron 14b at the tip of b.

First, in order to attach the member 16 to the glass launch channel IO, the lip portion 10 is attached to the glass launch channel IO.
After forming the notch 13 with ct left in place, this glass launch channel 10 is attached to a gold plate 71 (not shown) for molding the member 16, and bath-melted hard vinyl chloride is poured into the metal piece to form the glass launch channel 10. The base portion 14 may be welded to the base portion 14. Then, as shown in Figure W44, a glass launch channel lO having a hard member 16 attached thereto is attached to the window frame 12 of the automobile.

As described above, when the guide piece 15 of the nine members 16 is pulled outside the vehicle and the round window glass B is closed when the car is running in a erratic state, the guide piece 15 of the nine member 16 comes into contact with the end of the window glass B and closes the window glass B. It is guided between the lip portions 10c, 10c of the glass launch channel 10. At this time, the guide piece 15 is made of hard vinyl chloride and is more rigid than the conventional synthetic rubber guide piece.
Since the guide piece 15 is difficult to deform even if the window glass B comes into contact with the window glass B, the guide piece 15 securely holds the window glass B against the lip portion 10c.
, guide you between 10c.

In addition, the guide piece 15 is made of hard vinyl chloride, and the surface of the guide piece 15 is smooth, so that the sliding resistance when the edge of the window glass B slides along the guide piece 15 is lower than that of conventional guide pieces. Since the window glass B is small in size, the window glass B slides smoothly along the guide piece 15 and moves between the lip portions 10c and 10c.

Furthermore, the base 14 of the member 16 made of hard vinyl chloride constitutes a part of the main body 11 of the glass launch channel 10, and when an external force is applied by the guide piece 15 or the glass 3, the base 14 will become pronated by the satush M. Because it has a tensioning effect,
It is possible to provide sufficient rigidity.

On the other hand, when attaching the guide piece 15, the guide piece 15 can be attached to the glass run channel IO by means of molding and welding without using a separate member such as a metal fitting as in the conventional case. Installation costs can be reduced and installation work can be simplified.

In the above-described embodiment, the member 16 is attached to the glass launch channel 10 on the front side of the vehicle, but the mounting position of the member 16 is not limited to the above-mentioned position. Further, the material is not limited to vinyl chloride, but may be other synthetic resins or rubber, and the main body may be either soft or hard as long as the lip portion of the general portion is soft.

As explained above, the glass launch channel 4 of the present invention has a base part of a hard member integrally formed with a base part and a guide piece attached to a notch formed in the glass launch channel having a soft lip part. If you close the window glass that is attached to the outside of the unit while driving at high speed, the guide piece will guide the window glass to the lip of the glass launch channel, so even when driving at high speed, You can close the window glass smoothly. In addition, if the entire surface is molded from soft and hard vinyl chloride as shown in the example, the surface of the guide piece that comes into contact with the window glass will be smooth and rounded, and the window glass that is attracted to the outside of the vehicle can be easily moved along the guide piece. It has the advantage of being able to be guided to the glass launch channel by sliding it on the glass launch channel.

Furthermore, as in the illustrated embodiment, if the lip portion is not removed when forming the notch for the hard member having the guide piece in the general portion, the lip portion will be continuous over the entire length of the glass launch channel. There will be no problems such as poor adhesion to the glass.
