Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the workability in assembling and to minimize the size of a tape cassette while preventing an energizing spring from being unlocked at the time of assembling, by reducing the number of the energizing springs to one, energizing the front cover and cover locking piece with one spring. A notched part 19 is installed to the front cover 7. Projections 20 and 21 are installed into the space 30 at the inside of the side plate 10 of the front cover from the side plate 10, and, before the front cover 7 is assembled, a torsion coil spring 9 is inserted into the rotary shaft 5 of the front cover, and both ends of the spring 9 are detained by the projections 20 and 21 forming a detained shape.

Description

Claims (2)
