Claims

A multi-directional switch in which a movable contact is displaced by the tilting operation of an operating member supported by a spherical bearing so as to be tiltable in multiple directions with respect to a switch body, so that the movable contact can be brought into contact with and separated from a fixed contact attached to an insulator. A cylindrical guide ring is arranged around the switch body, and the guide ring can be moved up and down according to the tilting of the operating member by a return spring arranged between the switch body and the contact between the operating member and the guide ring. A moderation groove is formed on one side of the connecting part, and an engaging part that engages with this moderation groove is formed on the other side, and when the operating member is tilted, the retaining part engages with the moderation groove as the guide ring moves up and down. A multi-directional switch characterized by creating a sense of moderation by engaging and disengaging.
