Claims

In a pipe joint for a metal pipe whose inner surface is lined with polyurethane or other synthetic resin, flanges with tapered shoulders are formed at both ends of the pipes to be connected, and the abutting surfaces of both flanges are lined with the synthetic resin. A lining abutting surface is formed with a lining of the same quality as that of the lining abutting surface, a water leak prevention 01J ring is interposed concentrically with the inner periphery of the pipe between the lining abutting surfaces, and the lining abutting surface is provided on the outer periphery of both flanges. A compressive force receiver having a pressure receiving surface in the same direction as the pressure receiving surface and a tapered back surface behind the pressure receiving surface is installed, and straddles so as to cover both ends of the pipe and connects the tapered shoulder surface of the flange and the tapered back surface of the compressive force receiver. A pipe joint characterized in that a split joint main body having a two-stage tapered inner surface that is engaged with the main body is tightened with one port.
