Abstract

PURPOSE:To indicate the loading of an air filter to a user by an arrangement wherein a movable body is moved by the action of the pressure which lowers by the loading of the air filter and light is transmitted from the light incoming side of an optical fibre to the light display side to radiate the display unit. CONSTITUTION:An indoor unit 1 of an air conditioner is formed with an air inlet port 2 and comprises an air filter 5, a heat exchanger 6 and a fan 7 mounted in turn on the downstream side thereof. A wind tunnel 10 located on the suction side is provided with a pressure detector means 12. The pressure detector means 12 is comprised of a movable body 15 arranged to move inwardly within a cylinder 13 against the force of a spring 14 when the pressure in the wind tunnel 10 drops below a predetermined value. Therefore, in the case where the air filter 5 got loaded the pressure in the wind turnnel 10 on the suction side drops below the predetermined value with the result that the movable body 15 moves towards the wind tunnel 10. Consequently, light is transmitted from an optical fibre 19 on the light incoming side to an optical fibre 20 on the display side so that one end 20a of the fibre 20 emits light thereby indicating loading of the filter.

ンプが点灯しない欠点があったoしかも、表示のために
は消費電力が必要であった。又、従来、空気調和機のエ
アーフィルターより風下側における風洞の負圧を検出し
、青色の表示板から赤色の表示板に変えるようにしだも
のがあったが、これは、単に表示板の色を変えるだけの
ものであるため、電力の消費はないが、使用者への往古
の出し方としては不十分で、使用者は気が付かないまま
空気調和機を使い続けるといった欠点があった。

記作動体を、前記吸込側風洞内圧力が所定圧力以上のと
きには前記両光ファイバーの他端間に位置し、所定圧力
以下のときには前記両光ファイバーの他端間から外れる
位置になるように設けたことを特徴とするものである○ 以下に本発明の一実施例について、第1〜3図図におい
て、1はセパレート形空気調和機の室内ユニットであり
