The structure of a conventional plastic-type organic dispersion type EL panel is as shown in FIGS. 1(a) and 1(b). That is, an upper layer transparent electrode 2, a fluorescent light emitting layer 3 for monochromatic light emission, a reflective insulating layer 4, and a back electrode 5 are enclosed inside the outer skin film 1 as shown in the figure, and the lead terminal 6 of the upper layer transparent electrode 2 is sealed.
and a lead terminal 7 for a back electrode.

FIG. 2 shows a configuration diagram of an EL panel according to the present invention. The feature of this embodiment is that phosphor light-emitting layers 13 and 14 of different luminescent colors are formed in a comb shape and are combined and arranged as shown in the figure, and furthermore, an upper transparent layer corresponding to these light-emitting layers M is formed. The electrodes and the back surface' 1f pole (not shown) are similarly formed into a comb shape and arranged as appropriate, and the lead terminals 9 to 12 are taken from each electrode.According to this structure, , when the fluorescent light emitting layer 13 is caused to emit light, when the fluorescent light emitting layer 14 is caused to emit light, and when both light emitting layers are caused to emit light at the same time, different colors can be emitted. The color emitting layer can emit light in three colors.

FIG. 3 shows an example in which the EL panel according to the present invention is employed in the backlight 1- of a liquid crystal display device. In the figure, 15 is a front polarizing plate;
16 is a liquid crystal display cell, 17 is a back polarizing plate, and 18 is a semi-transparent anti-fog plate, which constitute a liquid crystal display device, and an EL panel 19 according to the present invention is disposed at F of the semi-transparent reflector plate 18. are doing.

With this configuration, the beam passes through the translucent reflector 18 and -CE
The emitted light color of L spring) v19 is seen as the background color of the liquid crystal display pattern, and especially when both the light emitting layers of the EL spring/v19 are emitted simultaneously, uniform coloring can be obtained by the action of the translucent repellent plate 18.

FIG. 4 shows another embodiment of the EL panel according to the present invention, in which the fluorescent light-emitting layers 13 and 14 are each formed into a circular shape and arranged alternately. With this configuration, the density of the light-emitting layer is increased, so that the light emission on the light-emitting surface becomes uniform, and the brightness can be reduced.
