Claims

In a reclining device that adjusts the tilting position of the seat back by engaging a striker attached to the frame of the seat back with one of a plurality of engagement grooves of a sector member fixed to the vehicle body, the striker is made of a wire rod. The sector member is formed into a roughly U-shape, and the shaft portions at both ends are pivotably attached to the seat back frame.
