    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 交流電源と放電灯負荷との間に挿入され、前記負荷に位
    相制御された電力を供給する位相制御素子と、この位相
    制御素子の非導通区間に補助電力を負荷に供給する補助
    電源とを具備する放電灯調光装置において、前記補助電
    源は、該放電灯調光装置の電源投入後一定時間前記負荷
    に前記定常設定レベル以上の補助電力を供給することを
    特徴とする放電灯調光装置。
