In a composite magnetic head in which a first head part is fixed to a side surface of a second head part, the first head part has a through hole through which a mounting screw is inserted, and the bottom part is wider than the opening part. The second head part supports and fixes the head core to a case using a holder, a notch is formed in the case, and the mounting recess is provided at a position of the holder corresponding to the notch. A mounting convex part with a narrowed part formed at the base is provided so as to fit into the first head part, and a mounting hole corresponding to the mounting screw is formed in the convex part, and the concave part of the first head part The first head part is fitted into the convex part of the second head part, and the mounting screw is inserted into the first head part and screwed into the mounting hole of the holder, thereby attaching the first head part to the second head part.
