Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the air resistance of ink drips, to stabilize the injection and flying of ink drips and to improve the quality of printing by moving a laminar gas in parallel in the direction of flying of ink drips. CONSTITUTION:An air laminar-flow forming port 5 is formed around the nozzle hole 2 of an ink jet head 1, an air laminar flow A is flowed so as to surround ink drips 4 injected from the nozzle hole 2 from the forming port 5 and in the same direction as the direction of flying of ink drips 4, and ink drips 4 are attached and recorded to recording paper 7. Accordingly, stable ink drips are formed and flown while the adhesion of paper powder, dust, etc. near a nozzle can be prevented.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to an electric field on-demand type inkjet recording device, and in particular to an electric field on-demand type inkjet recording device, in particular, it reduces the air resistance when the ink droplets fly by running laminar gas in the direction of the flight of the ink droplets. , which stabilizes the ejection and flight of ink droplets and improves printing quality.

A so-called electric field on-demand type inkjet recording device that uses an electric field to fly ink droplets has already been proposed, but conventional inkjet recording devices of this type simply eject ink droplets using an electric field, so ink droplets fly. Due to air resistance, stable ink jetting and flight were not possible.

The present invention has been made in order to eliminate the drawbacks of the prior art as described above, and in particular, in an electric field on-demand type inkjet recording device, a laminar flow gas is caused to run parallel to the flying direction of the ink droplets, so that air is directed against the flying ink droplets. The purpose is to reduce resistance, thereby stabilizing the ejection and flight of ink droplets, and improving printing quality.

FIG. 1 is a main part configuration diagram for explaining an embodiment of an electric field on-demand type inkjet recording apparatus according to the present invention, in which 1 is an inkjet head, 2 is a nozzle hole, 3 is ink, is an ink droplet, 5 is an air laminar flow forming port, and 6 is an ink droplet.
7 is a control power supply, 7 is a recording paper, 8 is a stylus electrode, and 9 is a bias electrode. As is well known, an electric field is applied to the ink near the nozzle hole 2 by the bias voltage to the extent that ink droplets do not fly out. The ink droplets are ejected when a pulse voltage is applied from the control power source. According to the present invention, in the electric field on-demand type inkjet recording apparatus that ejects ink droplets as described above, the laminar air flow forming port 5 is provided around the nozzle hole 2. The laminar air flow A is made to flow so as to surround the ink droplets ejected from the nozzle hole 2 (that is, in a cylindrical manner) and in the same direction as the flight direction of the ink droplets, and by doing so, the formation of ink droplets is This stabilizes flight, improves printing quality, and prevents paper powder, dust, etc. from adhering to the vicinity of the nozzle hole. Note that at this time, if the airflow is turbulent, it will actually make the ink flying unstable, so the structure around the head can be changed, for example, by making the paper surface round and the airflow flowing through it, as shown in Figure 1. It is also necessary to create a structure that allows air to escape smoothly, and if the structure disturbs the air flow, for example, creates a thin flow, the effect will be halved. In addition, the air flow forming port (
It is also necessary to make a smooth surface condition near the inner wall of or #) and the outlet so that a stable laminar flow can flow.

FIG. 2 is a schematic diagram of the main parts when the present invention is applied to a multi-nozzle inkjet recording device. In the figure, 1 is an inkjet head, 2 is a nozzle hole, 7 is a recording paper, 8 is a stylus electrode, and 10 is a The air layer forming groove 10 causes a laminar flow of air to flow in the flying direction of ink droplets. It is easy to understand that in the embodiments shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, it is desirable that the fluid flowing through the air layer forming ports or grooves be clean air that has passed through a filter (not shown).
