ードおよびリバース用磁気ヘッドを備えたヘッドシャー
シを配し、該ヘッドシャーシのシーン動作によりフォワ
ード、リバース各テープ走行に応じて前記磁気ヘッドを
切り換えるようになされたオートリバーステープレコー
ダにおいて、前記へラドシャーシ後方の前記固定シャー
シ上に前記へラドシャーシを制御するための規制部材を
設け、前記可動シャーシが再生（または録音）位置より
停止位置へ摺動する過程において前記へラドシャーシが
テープリバース定石状態に切り換わっていた場合には前
記規制部材が前記へラドシャーシの一端に衝接しこれを
押圧してテープフォワード状態に切り換えるように構成
することにより、前記可動シャーシの停止位置において
は前記可動シャーシ上の前記へラドシャーシが常にテー
プフォワード走行状態となるようにしたことを特徴とす
