Abstract

PURPOSE:To scrape and discharge abnormally accumulated sludge successively from the upper part in a scraper for sludge by turning arms mounted with scraping plates around the axial center and moving the arms upward by a vertically moving device. CONSTITUTION:When sludge 14 accumulates on the bottom part in a settling basin 10, a revolving shaft 22 is rotated by the rotation of a driving device 24, and the scraping plates 34 mounted in the preceding end parts of the arms 32 scrape the sludge 14 and charge the same into a sludge pit 16. When load is increased by the abnormally accumulated sludge 14, a vertically moving device 44 is operated to move the plates 34 upward around pins 30 and to scrape the upper part of the sludge 14 into the pit 16. The sludge 14 is scraped successively by the plates 34 which are operated by the movement of the device 44 and plural times of revolutions of the shaft 22, whereby the sludge 14 is charged into the sludge pit.

In the sedimentation tank, a rotating shaft is erected in the center, and scraping plates protrude in the radial direction from this rotating shaft. This scraper plate collects the sludge accumulated at the bottom of the settling tank by rotating the rotating shaft and stores it in the sludge pit in the center of the settling tank.

However, if a large amount of sludge is abnormally deposited inside, such as precipitation, the load torque for raking up the sludge becomes large, and the safety device in the rotary shaft drive device is activated, making it impossible to drive the raking plate. In order to restart the scraping board, it is necessary to remove the sludge after draining the raw water in the sedimentation tank, resulting in large-scale repair work.

For this reason, conventional structures have been proposed in which the scraping board is moved up and down around the attachment point to the rotating shaft, and structures in which the scraping board is moved vertically up and down along the rotating shaft, but these structures are too expensive. It is convenient for lifting the scraper plate to remove sludge when the safety device is activated by a load, but when a large amount of sludge accumulates, it is necessary to stop the flow of raw water into the settling tank and remove the sludge. was the same as before.

In FIG. 1, the sedimentation basin 10 has a cylindrical shape with a vertical axis, and a drainage trough 12 is provided on the inner circumference to discharge clear raw water that has flowed into the sedimentation basin to the outside. ing. Further, the bottom of the sedimentation tank 1o is formed gradually lower toward the center, and serves as a deposition surface for the sludge 14. In addition, the central part is further formed with a sludge pit 16, which has a structure in which the collected sludge 14 falls.
A sludge drawing pipe 18 is further connected to the sludge pit 16 to discharge the sludge to the outside.

The upper end of an arm 32 is pivotally supported by the pin 30, and the axis of the pin 30 is in the horizontal direction. Therefore, the arm 32 can pivot around the horizontal axis (in the direction of arrow A in FIG. 2) about the pin 30.

Therefore, these scraping plates 34 can also be turned around the pin 30 according to the arm 32. Here, the length of the arm 32 is such that the longitudinal axis of the arm 32 is inclined at a predetermined angle from the vertical line when the scraper plate 34 is in contact with the bottom of the sedimentation tank, as shown in FIG. A beam 38 is fixed to the rotating shaft 22 on the beam 26, and a rectifying cylinder 40 is suspended from the beam 38. This straightening cylinder 40 is arranged coaxially with the rotating shaft 22, and one end of the raw water inflow pipe 42 is open. Therefore, the straightening tube 40 has the role of diffusing the contaminated raw water flowing in from the raw water inflow pipe 42 into the sediment/11210 from the lower part and causing it to stay there.

Beam 38 and arm 32 to which this rectifying cylinder 40 is attached
A lifting device 44 is provided between the horizontal shaft 36 and the horizontal shaft 36 fixed to the horizontal shaft 36 . As this lifting device 44, a winding device 46 is installed on the beam 38, and this winding device 46 winds up all of one end of the rope 48, and also winds up one end of the rope 48.
The rope 48 is wound up and unwound by the driving force.゛The tip of this rope 4B is wrapped around the sheep 50 that is supported pivotally on the beam 38, then wrapped around the sheep 52 that is pivotally supported on the horizontal shaft 36, folded back, and further secured to the lower end of the beam 38. has been done. Therefore, when the winding device 46 winds up the rope 48, the arm 32 is raised about the pin 30 and moved to a substantially horizontal position as shown by the two-dot chain line in FIG.

Since the rotation shaft 22 is rotated by the rotation of the drive device 24, the scraping plate 34 attached to the tip of the arm 32 scrapes up the sludge 14 on the bottom and throws it into the sludge pit 16. The sludge in the sludge pit 16 is discharged from the sludge extraction pipe 18.

When the sludge 14 is abnormally deposited on the sedimentation tank 10, the load applied to the scraping plate 34 increases, so the scraping plate S4 rises around the bin 30 and removes the upper part of the sludge J4. Scrape inward. Therefore, by multiple rotations of the rotating shaft 22, the scraping plate 34 scrapes up the sludge 14 one after another, resulting in a sludge pile.

When re-rotating the drive device 24, the winding device 46 is reversed to unwind the rope 8.The scraping plate 34 is placed on the accumulated sludge 14, and the drive device 240 rotates to remove the rope 8 from the top of the sludge 14. The sludge is gradually collected and immersed into the sludge pit 16.

In the above embodiment, a combination of a rope and a winding device for winding the rope was used as the lifting device, but as explained above, the sludge scraper of the present invention can be used in other ways, such as moving the arm 32 up and down by the driving force of the cylinder. The arm to which the sludge plate is attached can be rotated around the horizontal axis, and an elevating device for forcibly raising the arm is installed, so sludge can be scraped even when abnormal sludge builds up. It is also possible to forcibly raise the arm using an elevating device to scrape up the accumulated sludge from above, which has an excellent effect in that there is no need to interrupt the scraping operation to remove the sludge in the event of abnormal accumulation.
