に導く通路にアフタークーラを設け、そのアフタークー
ラにより加圧空気を冷却して吸気マニホールドへ流すよ
うにしてなる内燃機関において、アフタークーラ用のラ
ジェータのアッパータンクを隔壁により複数の室に分割
し、分割された各室に並列に入口導管をそれぞれ接続し
てそれ等の入口導管を過給機に至る1本の導管に接続し
、入口導管のうち一つあるいは複数に機関回転数が所定
回転数以下に低下すると閉じる開閉弁を設け、機関回転
数が所定回転数以下に低下すると過給機からの加圧空気
を開閉弁が設けられていない入口導管を経てラジェータ
のアッパータンクの分割された室のうち一つあるいは複
数の室に導くようにしてなることを特徴とする内燃機関
のアフタークーラ装置。
