Claims (1)
態によりグラフや数値等番ネガ表示する第１の表示部と
、目盛や数字あるいは文字等を前記電極間の印加電圧の
状態にかかわりなく透過光表示する第２の表示部とを有
する液晶表示装置において、 前記液晶セルの前方に、第１の表示部の対応部分をほぼ
透明な窓部としこの窓部を除いて他の部分を表示装置に
応じた模様や色彩で着色すると共にこのうち少なくとも
第２の表示部の対応部分を透光性とした表面板を配設し
、 前記液晶セルの第１の表示部を構成する電極を設けた一
方の絶縁性基板部分もしくは前記電極とその近傍の絶縁
性基板部分と、他方の絶縁性基板部分とで配向処理を異
ならせもしくは一部配向処理せず、前記表面板の第２の
表示部分には常に光が当り第２の表示部が透過光表示す
