Claims

[Scope of utility model registration request]

In a floating sheet of a sintered hard material such as ceramics or cemented carbide, or of a ranal mechanical seal, one or more annular steps recessed from the sliding surface of the annular body are either integrally molded or separate. An inner ring is fitted into the shaft hole of the annular body, or an annular groove perpendicular to the axial direction is formed by fitting or contacting the annular body and the inner ring or end ring in place of the annular step. The annular step or the annular groove has one or more insertion grooves formed in the axial direction with respect to the shaft hole as necessary, and a bloating sheet is used as a sliding contact surface with the seal ring.
