Abstract

PURPOSE:To uniform the winding pitch, by a method wherein a conical and helical spring is provided inside a winding nozzle retained by a holder, and the winding nozzle is rotated, thereby to change the inside diameter of the minimum turn of the spring. CONSTITUTION:A winding nozzle 1' is secured to a winding nozzle holder 4 by means of a set bolt 5. A conical helical spring 6 is disposed inside the nozzle 1'. One end 6a of the spring 6 is secured to a projection 4a provided on the holder 4, and the other end 6b is retained by a notch 1'b formed in the nozzle 1'. The inside diameter of the minimum turn of the spring 6 is changed by rotating the nozzle 1'. Therefore, when a core material 2 is passed through a bore 1'a in the nozzle 1', the set bolt 5 is loosened to rotate the nozzle 1' in the direction for enlarging the minimum turn inside diameter.
