Claims (2)

    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. （１）支持部材が無端状に連結され、この支持部材上に
    装着された踏板によって移動する踏段が形成されると、
    ともに、前記踏板の両側辺部にデマケーションクリート
    が配設され、かつ少なくとも前記踏板の前側辺部にデマ
    ケーションコムが配設されてなるエスカレータにおいて
    、前記デマケーションクリートおよびコムを透明または
    半透明等の光の透過率の高い材料で形成するとともに、
    前記支持部材の前記デマケーションクリートおよびコム
    と対向する部位を切欠し、かつ前お踏段の内側に前記デ
    マケーションクリートおよびコムを照射する光源を配設
    したことを特徴とするエスカレータ。
  2. （２）乗降口側端寄りに配する光源は明滅式としたこと
    を特徴とする実用新案登録請求の範囲第（１）項記載の
    エスカレータ。
