Claims (1)

  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 １２枚の透明基板間の周縁に設けたシール部材の内部に
    液晶を封入してなる液晶セルと、該液晶セルの少なくと
    も一方の外表面上に離間して設けられる偏光板と、該偏
    光板を表面上に接着固定する透光体と、該透光体の側面
    に形成される反射層とを備え、前記偏光板の形状を前記
    シール部材の内寸法より小さく、前記透光体の形状を前
    記偏光板の形状より充分界きくしたことを特徴とする液
    晶表示装置。 ２　前記透光体の少な（とも−側面が斜形状を有し、こ
    の斜形状の側面に前記反射層が形成されることを特徴と
    する実用新案登録請求の範囲第１項記載の障晶表示装置
    。
