Fire detectors that are generally installed on ceilings, etc. consist of a sensing head that houses the detector body, and a base. The base is fixed to the ceiling, etc., and the sensing head is detachable from the base. This allows only the sensing head to be easily removed for maintenance, inspection, replacement, etc.

Therefore, if the ceiling is high and a long operating rod is required, or if there is an obstacle below the installation location and the operation must be performed from diagonally downward, make sure that the position of the sensor mounted on the ceiling matches the holder. It was difficult, required skill to operate, and took a long time.

The attaching/detaching device according to this invention will be explained in detail below based on the drawings. Fig. 1 is a longitudinal sectional view showing one embodiment of the attaching/detaching device according to this invention, and shows an operating rod B having an appropriate length.
and a vessel-shaped holder H which is attached to one end of this operating rod B at its bottom, houses the sensing head, and whose opening HO has an outer circumference approximately equal to the outer circumference of the fire detector, and this holder H. A protruding piece T for locking the sensing head is provided on the inner circumferential surface of the housing, and a spring member S for biasing the protruding piece T is opened at one end to form a large opening GD. The slope part GK becomes smaller, and the straight pipe part GT
and a guide member G whose other end is a small opening GS and is slidably connected to the outer periphery of the opening HO of the holder H, and a guide member G that is always pushed out in front of the opening HO of the holder H. It consists of a spring M that biases it.

If you pull the operating rod B in this state, the holder H will come off from the sensing head DH and the installation operation will be completed, but the above operation explanation seems to be a slow operation because it is explained step by step. In reality, it is a continuous series of operations and is completed within a very short time.

Also, when removing the sensing head DH from the base DB, attach the holder -H to the sensing head D on the ceiling C.
H, the tip of the sensing head DH enters the large opening GD of the guide member G even if the mutual positions do not match, and by pushing up the operating rod B, the sensing head DH
moves downward along the guide member G and is inserted into the holder H.
