Claims

(1) In a speaker equipped with an edge to which the outer circumferential portion of the diaphragm is joined and supports the diaphragm, the edge is made of a resilient foam material that extends along an axis substantially in the same direction as the vibration direction of the diaphragm. 1. A speaker characterized in that the diaphragm is formed into a cylindrical shape, and the outer peripheral part of the diaphragm is joined to the substantially central part of the diaphragm along the inner peripheral wall of the edge. (2) The speaker according to claim 1, wherein the thickness of the cylindrical edge changes symmetrically with respect to the outer circumferential joining position of the diaphragm.
