However, the hole at the tip of the bat is small, and the volume of the elastic body to be inserted is significantly large compared to that, so insertion is not easy. However, this method requires a lot of effort and the pushing force is not constant.
There were many variations in the amount and position of insertion of the elastic body into the bat, and the weight and balance of the bat were inconsistent.

The present invention was made in view of the above situation, and an object of the present invention is to provide a method for inserting an elastic body, which allows the elastic body to be easily inserted in a constant position with a constant force in a well-balanced manner.

In the figure, 1 is a metal hollow cylindrical bat body, and the distal end of the large diameter part and the base end of the narrow diameter part of the bat body 1 are shown before the grip end and cap (not shown) are attached. An opening 3.2 opens therein which is to be closed with a cap and a grip end, respectively, the diameter of the opening 3 being smaller than the diameter of the bat body 1.

The other end of the pipe 5 is connected to a pressure reducing device such as a vacuum pump (100 mmHg or more, capacity 5 mmHg 15 min), and at the same time when the bat body 1 is connected to one end of the pipe 5 via the connector 6, a switch (not shown) is connected. The device senses this and activates the decompression device, which immediately begins suctioning.

On the other hand, after or prior to connecting the bat body 1 to the pipe 5, a guide tube 7 having a funnel-shaped tapered portion is inserted into the opening 3 at the tip of the bat body 1, and its end is inserted into the opening 3. The elastic body 10, which is pressed so as to be fitted into the inside of the cap locking stepped portion 8 formed on the periphery of the cap 3, and is wrapped with a sealing material 9 prepared in advance, is dropped into the guide tube 7.

The elastic body 10 is made of foamable synthetic resin such as urethane foam,
Rubber or other elastic materials that have a noise-absorbing effect are usually used in a prismatic shape (density 0.047 g/cm3, weight in many cases 4

Further, after the sealing member 9 accommodates the elastic body 10, the opening portion may be welded to seal it, or it may simply be folded and secured.

The elastic body 10 dropped into the guide tube 7 is sealed by the sealing member 9.
Due to its slipperiness, it falls to the bottom of the guide tube 7 and blocks the opening 3.

When the opening 3 is blocked, the negative pressure inside the bat body 1 gradually increases because the vacuum pump is in operation, and when the pressure difference between the inside and outside of the bat body 1 exceeds a certain level, the sealing person 9 first closes it. The elastic body 1 ruptures due to the differential pressure, and the inside of the sealing member 9 is instantly greatly reduced, and the pressure difference applied to the inside and outside of the sealing member 9 causes the elastic body 1 to rupture.
0 is strongly compressed in the opening 3, and combined with the slipperiness of the sealing material 9, it is inserted into the bat body 1 from the opening 3 together with the sealing material 9, and its tip is locked at approximately the upper end position of the narrow diameter portion. It is then compressed and deformed in sequence, and is packed almost evenly up to the upper end of the large diameter portion.

Note that when the amount of elastic body 10 is large, a push rod may be used to lightly push in the elastic body 10 for work efficiency. The longer the opening 3 is closed, the more the negative pressure within the bat body 1 is increased, so in most cases there is no need to use a push rod.

When the amount of elastic body 10 is small, the sealing material 9 and the other material are inserted into the bat body 1 as they are due to the differential pressure between the inside and outside of the bat body 1 before the sealing material 9 ruptures.

Further, the amount of elastic body 10 required for one bat may be stored in one sealing member 9 and inserted at once, but it may be divided into a plurality of sealing members 9 and inserted several times. Good too.

Furthermore, if the outer surface of the elastic body 10 itself is formed into a smooth and slippery surface, there is no need to use the sealing member 9.

What is shown in FIG. 2 is another embodiment of the present invention, in which an elastic body 1
A pressure chamber 11 equipped with a guide tube 7 is connected to the opening 3 at the tip of the bat body 1, and the pressure chamber 11 is connected to a compressor etc. through a pipe 12. The elastic body 10 wrapped in the sealing material 9 is fed into the guide tube T from the input port 13, the pressure inside the pressure chamber 11 is increased, the elastic body 10 is compressed, and the sealing material is connected to a pressurizing device. Using the slipperiness of 9, attach this to the bat body 1.

As described above, in this invention, the funnel-shaped induction body is made up of a long thick diameter part and a small diameter part, and is pressed against an opening having a diameter smaller than the diameter of the large diameter part, which is opened at the tip of the large diameter part. In this way, a pressure difference is created between the inside and outside of the hollow object, and the elastic body is compressed and deformed by the pressure difference and moved into the hollow object. Therefore, the elastic body can be automatically and efficiently moved into the hollow object. Moreover, since the insertion pressure of the elastic body is maintained almost uniformly, the elastic body is not unevenly distributed within the hollow object and is uniformly housed at a nearly constant density. If used when inserting an elastic body as a sound deadening material, the weight and balance of the product bat will be constant, making it possible to easily manufacture a product with excellent sound deadening effects without variation.
