Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the probability of collision of calls of mobile stations, by receiving a synchronizing signal from a base station and transmitting call request information in a time slot counted at a random timer from the synchronizing signal. CONSTITUTION:The base station transmits the synchronizing signal in a frequency other than communication channels. In the mobile station, when a hand set is hooked up for the call, a timer circuit 6 is operated. The synchronizing signal is extracted from the output of a reception circuit 7, and the timer circuit 6 is triggered. A plurality of time slots are prepared is succession to the synchronizing signal. One of the time slots is selected at random. The calling information is transmitted at the selected time. The probability of the calling information for collision is decreased and the efficiency of use of lines is increased.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION [Field of the Invention] The present invention relates to call information transmission control in a mobile radio communication system. In particular, in a multi-access system configured so that mobile stations with a small number of communication channels Kl can make calls, this is to reduce so-called collisions in which two or more mobile stations accidentally send out call information at the same time. Regarding improvements.

If two or more mobile stations simultaneously transmit call information on one communication channel, a collision will occur and the base station will not be able to correctly receive the information. The mobile station indicates that the call information was not received correctly. When the call information is recognized, the call information is sent again.

The time from when the first call information is transmitted to when the two mobile stations that initially collided transmit the call information again after learning that the call information was invalid is almost equal to tl. , a collision will occur again when the calling information is sent again. If such a phenomenon is repeated, communication settings will not be possible and the communication channel will not be used effectively.

FIG. 2 is a block diagram of a portion of the mobile station device according to the embodiment of the present invention that is directly related to the present invention. The call detection circuit 5u is a circuit for detecting off-hook of the handset, and when it detects that there is a call request, it gives this signal to the timer circuit 6. The timer circuit 6 is supplied with the output of a synchronization signal extraction circuit 8 that extracts the synchronization signal described above from the output of the reception circuit 7, and uses this synchronization signal as a trigger to measure time.

In the above embodiment, it was described that a random time is counted from the first call, but the operation of the timer circuit 6 is prohibited only for the first call, and the first call is off-hook. It can be configured to transmit call information at the same time. In this case, the configuration of the VCid timer circuit 6 is slightly complicated, but the first call has the advantage that there is no wasted time required until the call information is sent.

Assuming that the probability of a call request occurring is generally uniform over a certain amount of time, even if the method of the present invention is implemented, the probability that the first transmission of call information will collide will not be reduced. However, if the mobile station recognizes that the call information was not received correctly, it will issue a call request again.
The probability of this collision happening again becomes extremely low by implementing the present invention.

When the present invention is implemented, the time from the call request, that is, the off-hook of the handset, to the transmission of the call information becomes long, but this is a time that is rarely a problem in practice.
