Abstract

PURPOSE:To make counting operation of parts quick and to prevent erroneous weighing owing to errors in counting by providing two resolving powers to a weight detecting means and detecting weights by using the respective resolving powers according to the operations of a unit weight setting means thereby detecting weights. CONSTITUTION:The output of a weight detecting means is applied to an amplifier in a casing 1, and the gain of the amplifier is changed over the two stages. While many parts are counted, some pieces of parts are placed on a tray 11, and the number of said parts is inputted with switches 5 and the higher gain of the amplifier is selected, thus the total weight of the parts on the tray 11 with the higher resolving power is measured. When the operator pushes a number setting button 7, the total weight thereof is divided by the number of parts on the tray 11 and the weight of one piece of the parts is displayed in a unit weight display part 3. Thereafter the amplifier is changed over to the low gain, and when a large quantity of parts are placed on the tray 11, the total weight thereof is displayed on a weight display part 2. The total weight thereof is divided by unit weights and the results thereof are displayed as the number on a display part 4.

Generally, the number of parts to be counted is very small, for example less than two. However, the measuring scale of Xt of the counter is generally 1f or 2f, and with this, it is not possible to accurately weigh a single weight of - parts. Further, even if the N4r force of the part to be counted is, for example, 2f or more, it is not possible to accurately count the weight of one part more than the small scale of the counter.

After the weight of one part has been accurately measured and set as described above, when a large number of parts to be counted are placed on the tray 4, their total weight will be displayed on the weight display section (2). At the same time, this is divided by the set unit weight, and the resulting number of parts is displayed on the number display section (4).

As described above, with conventional counters, the user must count the number of parts when setting the unit weight of the parts to be counted. In some cases, a large number of parts must be accounted for. Such accounting is not only troublesome, but also requires a lot of time.

According to the invention, this purpose is achieved by at least a weight indicator;
In a counter equipped with a unit weight display section, a number display section, a unit weight setting means, and a weight detection means, the weight detection means has two resolutions and is suitable for operation of the unit weight setting means. Accordingly, when setting the unit weight, the weight is detected using the higher of the two resolutions,
When counting the number of parts to be counted, it is coupled by a counter characterized in that the weight is detected by the lower of the two resolutions.

Examples of the present invention will be described below. This embodiment is applied to the counter shown in the figure, and the load cell as a weight detection means and the amplification device for amplifying the output are mounted on the casing (1).
According to this embodiment, the gain of this amplifier can be switched in two stages.

When counting a large number of parts, it is first necessary to find the weight of - parts, but for this purpose several parts are placed on a tray (B), and the number of parts is counted by - switch ( 5) is input. By this operation, the higher gain of the two stages of gain of the above-mentioned amplifier is selected. As a result, the total weight of the parts placed on the placing plate Q1 can be measured with high resolution.

Next, when the number setting button (7) is pressed, the calculation circuit in the casing (1) circle calculates the total weight divided by the number of parts placed on the tray 011, The weight is displayed on the unit weight display section (3). On the other hand, this unit weight is stored in the storage circuit of the casing (1), and according to this embodiment, along with this storage, the gain of the amplifier can be switched to a lower gain of 10,000.

Since the unit weight of parts is measured with high resolution as described above, accurate unit weights can be obtained without counting a large number of parts as in the conventional method. According to this embodiment, for example, the weight of one part can be accurately determined using several parts. In some cases, the weight of a single part can be determined with desired accuracy simply by placing the single part on the mounting plate (b).

Next, when the parts to be counted are placed on a large number of trays Qη,
Since the gain of the amplifier has already been switched to the lower side, the total weight of this large number of parts is measured at the lower resolution or normal resolution, and this weight value is displayed on the weight 1' display (2 ), and is divided by the already memorized unit weight in the calculation circuit of the casing (1) circle.
The result is displayed as a number on the number display section (4).

Furthermore, in the above embodiment, the amplifier is switched to the higher gain by operating the numeric keypad switch (5), and the amplifier is switched to the lower gain by operating the number setting button (7). However, this method is not limited to this method, and a separate resolution switch may be provided on the panel.In addition, in the above embodiment, the gain of the amplifier is changed to change the resolution of the weight detection means. However, the present invention is not limited to this, and two types of load cells may be provided and these may be switched according to the operation of the unit weight setting means (5#C).

As described above, according to the counter of the present invention, the weight detection means has two resolutions, and when setting the unit weight according to the operation of the unit weight setting means, the higher of the two resolutions is used. When counting the number of parts to be counted, the weight is detected using the lower of the two resolutions, making the part counting operation much faster than before. In addition, there is no need to count a large number of parts as in the past, and only a small number of parts need to be counted, so erroneous weighing due to counting errors can be prevented.
