A heater core is arranged horizontally, and an air mix damper is provided above and below the core so as to selectively guide cold air.The cold air introduced below the heater core is caused to rise upward as warm air through the heater core. There is a system in which the cold air introduced above and the warm air are mixed and the mixed air is discharged through a distribution chamber to the driver's seat and the passenger's seat.

However, in this type of device, the distribution chamber is not provided as an extension of the flow of cold air, but is generally configured to transform the flow almost at right angles, so the speed of the wind flowing inside The speed is slower than the speed of the wind flowing outside.

As a result, the temperature of the temperature-controlled air discharged from the mixing chamber is higher on the passenger side than on the driver's side, typically up to 10 degrees Celsius. There was a temperature difference between the two seats, making it difficult to adjust the temperature to a comfortable level for both the driver and passenger seats.

In the present invention, a heater core is arranged approximately horizontally, a mixing chamber for mixing cold and hot air is provided on the upper side of the heater core, and the opening degree of an air mix damper provided at one end edge of the heater core is adjusted. In a configuration in which cold air guided without passing through the heater core and warm air guided through the heater core are mixed together, and the mixed air is discharged from a defroster or foot outlet through a mixture distribution chamber, The cooling and heating air mixing chamber and the communication passage to the distribution chamber are arranged so that the flow of cold air flowing through the cooling and heating air mixing chamber is changed at a substantially right angle, and the cooling and heating air mixing chamber is configured to have a communication path to the distribution chamber. A heater core that faces upward from the surface of the heater core so as to be substantially perpendicular to the inflow direction of the cold air, and is located in the middle of the heater core, and is provided with a screen plate so that there is a gap at the top, and is located in the inflow direction of the cold air. A downwardly curved displacement blade is provided that is located at the connection point of the communication passage that discharges the mixed air on the front side and is located above the heater core surface at a certain distance. It is characterized in that the temperature difference in the discharge from the discharge port is made uniform.

In the figure, inside air 1 or outside air 3 sucked in by a blower 1 is fed as cold air to a heater section via an evaporator 4, which is a cooling unit. 2
Separated chambers are formed, and the cold air supplied to the heater section is divided into two parts above and below the heater core 5 depending on the opening degree of the air mix damper 6 provided at the front end of the heater core 5. What passes through and what bypasses the heater core 5 are arranged to meet in a mixing chamber 7.

As shown in FIG. 1, the air that has merged and mixed in the mixing chamber 7 flows in a direction approximately perpendicular to the inflow side on the outflow side, and passes through the air-fuel mixture distribution chamber 9 to the defroster passages 9 provided on the left and right. , 9' or footwell outlets 11', 11' to the driver's seat side and the passenger seat side.

The screen plate 12 is located in the middle of the heater core 5 so as to be substantially perpendicular to the inflow direction of the cold air, and is provided so that it faces upward from the surface of the heater core 50 and has a slight gap 19 at the top. By controlling the flow rate and flow rate of the mixed air flowing toward the mixture distribution chamber 9 side, the flow rate and flow rate of the mixed air passing through the left and right chambers partitioned by the screen plate 12 as well as the temperature distribution are balanced.

The control of the flow rate and flow rate of the flow toward the distribution chamber 9 by the screen plate 12 means increasing the flow rate of the inside flow of cold air and suppressing the flow rate and flow rate of the cold air flowing to the outside. The goal is to prevent this from flowing.

Further, the flow rate vanes 13 are located at the inner cold air inlet portion bent at a substantially right angle for the cold air, and are curved downward so as to be located above the heater core 5 surface by a certain distance. When the opening of Temperature rise can be suppressed, thereby making the mixing ratio of cold air and warm air uniform, and reducing the temperature of the discharge air discharged from the left and right sides of the mixture distribution chamber 9 from the cold/hot air mixing chamber 7 via the communication passage 8. It causes an effect to balance the distribution.

Moreover, compared to the conventional method of arranging partition plates in a staggered manner to create turbulence and correct the mixing ratio, this invention greatly reduces flow path resistance and reduces the power consumption of the blower. This also has the effect of greatly reducing the noise generated accordingly.
