Abstract

PURPOSE:To ensure an effective protection of a magnetic tape, by providing a means that detects whether or not a magnetic tape is drawn out of a small- sized cassette stored in an adaptor, and at the same time, inhibits the shift of the cassette. CONSTITUTION:A small-sized cassette 7 is put into a cassette adaptor 13, and a loading lever 16 is moved toward an arrow 17. Then levers 18 and 19 turn centering on fulcrums 18a and 19a, and a magnetic tape 30 is guided by draw- out guides 14 and 15 and drawn out to a prescribed position.
