Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide the titled compsn. useful. as a camouflage material for use in a forest zone, showing an intensive spectral reflectance curve in a far-infrared region, comprising green and blue inorg. calcined pigments or comprising a yellow pigment together therewith. CONSTITUTION:A pigment compsn. for a camouflage coating comprising one or more inorg. calcined pigments selected from the group consisting of CoO:Al2O3: Cr2O3 (mol ratio 1:1-3:0.01-0.07); CoO:Al2O (mol ratio 1:1-3); TiO2:CoO:NiO: ZnO (mol ratio 1:0.3-1.5:0.3-1.5:0.3-1.5) or an azo or isoindolenone yellow pigment together with the above pigments is prepd. A synthetic resin with which said compsn. is blended is molded in a sheet or fibrous form to yield a camouflage cloth or camouflage sheet. EFFECT:The compsn. shows intensive spectral reflectance characteristics in a far-infrared region of 700-800nm in the same manner as chloroplast, when subjected to remote sensing, infrared detector, or infrared photography, and it has an excellent effect as a camouflage material for use in a forest zone.

In recent years, the technology for creating such camouflage has advanced considerably, but the technology for detecting such camouflage objects has also advanced considerably, and with the development of remote sensitive computers, it has become easier to see through conventional camouflage. I'm starting to feel like I'm going to have a hard time. For example, camouflage materials are used to hide military objects in traditionally green forest areas by coloring woven cloth, plastic sheets, etc. dark green with dyes and pigments, and covering the objects with the colored cloth or sheet. When looking at this kind of camouflage material with the naked eye, it is almost impossible to distinguish it from a protected forest area, but it is a colored cloth or sheet that has been colored to the same tone as the green leaves using green leaves and copper-7 talocyanine pigment + yellow lead pigment. When measuring the spectral reflectance of
Camouflaged objects can be easily identified by observing and recording them with a measuring device that can detect infrared reflectance characteristics around 0.00 am.

The present inventors have conducted various research on camouflage colorants that are effective in hiding certain objects from infrared remote sensing and infrared detectors, especially in forested environments. As a result of measuring the spectral reflectance of a plastic sheet colored dark green using an inorganic fired pigment, the present invention was achieved by finding that a curve almost similar to the spectral reflectance of green leaves of plants was obtained. . That is, the present invention is a composition containing only green and blue inorganic fired pigments.

By concealing military objects located in forest areas with camouflage plastic films or the like colored with the pigment composition of the present invention in a tone similar to that of tree leaves, the enemy can use remote sensing and infrared rays from a remote location. Even when a detector or infrared photographic manipulation is performed, the film colored with the pigment composition of the present invention has a far-infrared wavelength of 700 to 700, just like chloroplasts.
Since it shows a strong spectral reflectance curve at 800 m, no difference in wavelength is observed in this vicinity, making it particularly effective as a camouflage material in forest areas.

After adding a pigment composition consisting of 3 parts of yellow lead, 5 parts of yellow lead, and 9s of chrome vermilion and kneading for 3 minutes between mixing rolls heated to 160°C, the mixture was placed between 7-layer plates heated to 170 tl. A dark green film with a thickness of 0.2 m was obtained by pressing for 3 minutes at a pressure of -K. As a result of measuring the spectral reflectance of the obtained film, it showed a strong reflectance in the near-infrared region, as shown by the curve in FIG.
