Claims

[Scope of utility model registration request]

(1) A muffler cover that is provided to define a muffler chamber on a bearing that pivotally supports the crankshaft of a rotary compressor and is composed of a boss part and a flange part and has a small diameter peripheral part and a large diameter peripheral part. A bearing boss portion formed to be fitted on the outer peripheral portion of the bearing from the axial direction thereof, and provided with a resilient protrusion by forming a cut groove on the moderate peripheral edge of the muffler cover, and into which the resilient protrusion is fitted. A muffler cover for a rotary compressor, characterized in that it is configured so as to press against the outer periphery.

(2) A muffler cover for a rotary compressor according to item 1 of the Utility Model Registration Book, characterized in that a plurality of resilient protrusions are formed at appropriate intervals along the small-diameter peripheral edge of the muffler cover.
