Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent an entry of dust and to facilitate the insertion of a cassette by providing an upper and lower couple of doors that open on hingers in the cassette insertion port in a front surface panel. CONSTITUTION:The front insertion doors 14 and 16 for a cassette 1 are closed and sliding pins 7 and 8 on both sides of a cassette storage body 4 are pressed by a spring 11 against reversely L-shaped horizontal parts of guide rails 9 and 10. As the insertion of the cassette is started, the upper and lower doors 14 and 16 come into contact with guide pawls 5 and 6 by being pressed by the cassette 1 and then the lower door 14 is pressed against the reverse surface of the cassette by a torsion spring.
