Abstract

PURPOSE:To heat the liquid in a heater according to the required quantity thereof to thereby increase the econmical property of the titled boiler by a method wherein the heating of the liquid is stopped when the signals from a plurality of temperature sensors arranged vertically on the side wall of the heater indicate that a predetermined amount of heating of the lqiuid is reached. CONSTITUTION:A heating resistor 8 and a cylindrical body 25 for regulating the liquid at the time of heating are provided within the heater 1 having a liquid inlet port 6 and a liquid outlet port 7 and the plurality of temperature sensors 3-5 for detecting the temperature of the liquid are arranged vertically on the side wall of the heater 1. In short, the signals from the temperature sensors 3-5 are utilized as control inputs to the heating resistor 8 so that is is possible to heat only the required quantity, for example, 1/2 or 1/3 of the liquid, to thereby eliminate the loss of heat radiation and to improve the economical property of the heater.

In addition, the temperature detection elements 3, 4.5 detect the temperature change of the can body 1, which changes as the liquid heated by the liquid flowing in from the inlet port 6 is pushed up and discharged from the outflow lower, and turns on and off. The amount of heated liquid remaining in the can body 1 is displayed. In other words, temperature sensing elements 3 and 4.5 are turned on.
, the load resistance to the DC power source 22 is changed in accordance with the OFF operation, and the remaining amount of heated liquid in the can body 1 is displayed based on the current value (pointer position) of the remaining amount display meter 21.

For example, if only the switch 18 is turned ON (closed), the liquid in the can body 1 is heated by the heating device 8, and the can body 1 is heated.
When the temperature gradually rises from the upper part of the liquid and the liquid is heated to the position of the temperature sensing element 3, an "H" signal is input from the temperature sensing element 3 to the control circuit section 11. When the control circuit unit 11 determines that the input signal from the temperature detection element 3 is rHJ, it outputs an OFF output signal to the power control element 9, opens the power supply circuit to the heating device 8, and stops energization. . That is, when the liquid in the can body 1 is heated to the position of the temperature sensing element 3, power supply to the heating device 8 is automatically stopped, and the amount of heating of the liquid in the can body 1 is controlled. Similarly, when the switch 19 is turned on (closed), the power supply to the heating device 8 is stopped when the temperature detection element 4 is heated to the position.

Note that the input signals from the temperature sensing elements 3, 4.5 are determined by the control circuit section 11 as rHJ and rLJ, and the can body 1
An output signal is also generated to drive the remaining amount indicator 13 in accordance with the amount of heating within. For example, when the remaining amount of liquid heating in the can body 1 reaches the position of the temperature detection element 3, the indicator 14 is turned on.
