Claims

A projection device that amplitude-modulates a light beam from a projection light source using an image information signal obtained by scanning an image, and scans the light beam in synchronization with the scanning to obtain a projected image. A projection device characterized in that it is configured to perform both light reception scanning and projection scanning using a common scanning reflecting mirror having at least three reflecting surfaces that respectively reflect only the light of each color.
