。DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to the improvement of a multi-core optical fiber for optical cables. Nine methods have been proposed in which the outer periphery of the combined layer of optical fibers is filled with silicon and baked to form a cushioning material with an approximately circular cross section, and a plastic coating layer is placed on top of this cushioning material. (Refer to %Kaishodan-32109) aL However, the multi-core optical fiber with this structure has poor slippage between the optical fiber and the silicone buffer material. When bending is applied to the optical fiber core wire, the bending of the inner optical fiber wire is not relaxed and a large stress is applied to the optical fiber wire, resulting in a large transmission loss. There was a drawback that the elongation strain of the optical fiber was not alleviated and the life of the optical fiber was shortened. The purpose of the present invention is to improve the bending properties as described above, alleviate the elongation strain, and extend the life. To provide a multi-core optical fiber 10 according to the present invention, the embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. This multi-core optical fiber core wire is twisted with a tension member 12 made of a steel wire such as a stainless steel wire, and the nine optical fiber elements @14 and the outer periphery of this single layer of optical fiber wood wire are twisted together. It consists of a powder cushioning material 16 provided and a plastic coating layer 18 applied over this powder cushioning material.

ことができる。The Hikari 7 Eyepa wire 14 has a silicon coating layer added to the outer periphery of the Hikari 7 Eyer. The powder buffer material 16 fills between the twisted layers 011 of the Hikari 7 Eyer wire and shapes the outer periphery into a circular shape. Calcium carbonate or any other O material can be used.In this way, when powder is used as a buffer material, the optical fiber 14 and the buffer material do not come into close contact with each other, and a gap is created between them, so that light According to JK, even if bending is applied to the Hikari 7 Aipah wire 10, no force will be applied to the Hikari 7 Aipah wire 14. According to JK, as mentioned above, the Hikari 7 Aipah wire and the cushioning material are in close contact with each other. The bending characteristics of the multi-core optical fiber are significantly improved since the bending is produced without causing any damage, and since the elongation strain of the optical fiber is alleviated, deterioration of the service life can be prevented.
