Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate and quicken the fitting work of boots and boot rings, in an automatic assembly device in which a boot and a boot ring are fitted to seal the gap between cylinder and piston, by inserting the boot between the cylinder and piston under guidance of a tapered guide piece. CONSTITUTION:A guide piece 2 is set at the working end of the piston 7 inserted in a cylinder 6, and a boot 3 is placed from over the guide piece 2.
