Abstract

PURPOSE:To effectively execute electronic flash photographing at a position which is at a sufficient distance from an optical axis of a camera, by providing a connector for fitting an external electronic flash light emitting part, on a camera body, and making the external light emitting part emit light selectively. CONSTITUTION:In case of executing electronic flash photographing on ground or under water by incorporating an electronic flash device Xe, a titled camera is provided with an external electronic flash light emitting device XW consisting of an electronic flash light emitting part X2 which uses in common an electronic power supply E and a light emitting circuit of the electronic flash device Xe, and is constituted so that it can be attached and detached to and from a camera body B by connecting members CN, CN'. When the device XW is installed, light emission of only the light emitting device XW of simultaneous light emission of its light emission and light emission of the device Xe can be selected by a release button S of the camera.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to an amphibious and land-use camera with a built-in flash device, and particularly to a camera in which a strobe light emitting unit for underwater photography can be mounted away from the camera body.

These days, punpata strawberries are often used in households, etc.
All-weather built-in cameras have also been put into practical use, and underwater strobe photography has become possible with such cameras. When using a conventional camera of this kind underwater, the optical axis of the camera's photographing lens and the light emitted from the strobe light emitter are close and parallel.
This has the disadvantage that the strobe light causes scattering by objects floating in the water up to the subject, and this scatters onto the film, resulting in photographs with weak contrast.

Also, when taking underwater photographs using a camera that does not have a built-in strobe device, it is not necessary to attach a strobe device for underwater photography to the camera, as strobe light is required for underwater photography. However, when using this camera system on land, the camera body does not have a built-in strobe, so it is difficult to use a camera with a built-in strobe. ) is also inconvenient.Of course, if a camera with a built-in strobe is equipped with a device that moves the strobe light emitting part far enough away from the optical axis, it can be used for underwater photography, but doing so would require a large-scale device. This makes it inconvenient for normal land photography.

The object of the present invention is to eliminate the drawbacks of the conventional amphibious camera 2 as described above and to obtain a camera equipped with a strobe photographing device. For underwater photography, the camera's built-in strobe's power supply and circuitry can be used to light the underwater photography light emitting section, allowing the strobe to be emitted at a location separated from the camera beam. The built-in strobe of this camera can be used for land strobe photography, and it can also be used as an underwater strobe light emitting unit. Hereinafter, the present invention will be explained in detail with reference to the drawings.

Each of these connecting parts and the outer casing have a water-resistant structure. Figure 3 is a circuit connection diagram showing an embodiment of the strobe device for a amphibious camera according to the present invention. In Figure 3, Xe is built into the camera body. In the strobe device, 1 and Xv are strobe light emitting units for underwater photography. The internal strobe device Xe is composed of a power supply battery E, a strobe switch S, a main capacitor CM e , a rigger capacitor KCT, a step-up transformer Tr, a built-in flash discharge tube X1, and the like. S is the trigger switch, which is the X contact of the camera's shutter release, and No. 8 is the switch that disables the flash discharge tube x1. CN is the connector and the first

is turned on to cause the main capacitor M and the trigger capacitor CT to start charging. At this time, the switch S is in the on-off position 11. After charging is complete, turn on the switch S using the shutter's X contact, and the internal flash discharge tube Connect the connector CN' of the strobe light emitting unit Xw, and turn off the switch Sm on the camera side. In this state, turn on the strobe switch S and charge the strobe as you would for land strobe photography.
When the shutter release is completed and the switch S is turned on, the flash r tube X of the underwater photography strobe Xv is released.

In addition, I attached a strobe Xv for underwater photography and used a round one switch S.
If you do this, the built-in flash discharge tube X and the underwater photography flash discharge tube X can be synchronized with the shutter release and emit light at the same time, allowing you to take strobe photography with effective light distribution. . Of course, even in land photography, it is possible to make only the flash discharge tube X for underwater photography emit light.
