Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the efficiency of cargo work with the use of a hopper or the like for landing loads from a cargo ship, from getting worse, by providing a wind break wall opened at the side of a bucket entrance passage leading to a position above the hopper, and also providing a sprinkler device having its sprinkling direction along the opened surface. CONSTITUTION:The opened surface side of a wind break wall 2 receives buckets which enter therethrough, being faced toward the sea side A. Wind tending to enter a hopper 1, is screened by the wind break wall 2, and is weakened by a water film due to sprinkled water from sprinklers 3, 4. Accordingly, it is prevented that dust is whirled up in the hopper 1 by wind and flows out therefrom. Further, the buckets may enter to a position above the inlet of the hopper 1, passing through the opening side surface of the wind break wall 2 or above the sprinkler 4, and therefore, the entrance passage of the buckets are shortened, thereby the efficiency of cargo work may be enhanced.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Conventionally, equipment is known in which a packet of loose goo enters above the inlet of a hopper and loose material is released from the packet and falls into the hopper. Such equipment is used to unload cargo from cargo ships.

A conventional hopper has windbreak walls erected on the upper edge of the hopper along four circumferential sides, and is equipped with a water sprinkling device that sprays water horizontally along the upper opening surface.

For this reason, the dust generated when the material to be handled falls into the hopper is prevented from flowing out to the outside by the wind shielding effect of the windbreak wall and the water belly of the sprinkler device.

In such a conventional example, when a packet enters the hopper, an approach route must be set in which the packet is hoisted up to a height exceeding the windbreak wall. This has the disadvantage that the approach route becomes long and cargo handling efficiency deteriorates.

The gist of the present invention is that, as a basic configuration, a hopper is provided with a windbreak wall and a water sprinkler above the inlet, and the windbreak wall has an opening on the side of the packet approach road onto the hopper, and the watering direction is directed along the opened surface. Be sure to include the above-mentioned sprinkler system! l! It has a very dust-proof hopper configuration, and allows packets to enter the hopper from the top side of the windbreak wall, thereby omitting the route of the packets over the windbreak wall, and also allowing the opening side of the windbreak wall to be connected to the water spray system. The purpose is to prevent dust from escaping by sealing it with a water film.

Figure 1, #! As shown in Figure 2, windbreak walls 2 are fixed to the upper edge of the hopper 1 in a U-shape on three sides. The opening surface of the U-shaped windbreak wall 2 is arranged so as to face the large arrow in the direction of the packet approach path.

A water sprinkler 3 is attached to the upper inner surface of the windbreak wall 2, and the water sprinkler 3 is directed horizontally. Furthermore, a water sprinkler 4 is attached to the upper part of the hopper 1 below the opening surface of the windbreak wall 2, with the water spraying direction directed upward. A water supply pipe from a high-pressure water generator (not shown) is connected to each of the water sprinklers 3, 4.

In this embodiment, the opening surface of the windbreak wall 2 faces toward the sea, and can receive packets entering from the sea. The wind trying to enter hopper 1 is
It is blocked by the windbreak wall 2 and weakened by the water film produced by the water sprayed from the sprinklers 3 and 4. Therefore, dust is prevented from being stirred up in the hopper 1 by the wind and flowing out. Further, the packet can pass through the open surface of the windbreak wall 2, that is, over the sprinkler 4, and enter above the entrance of the hopper l. When the packet enters in this manner, it is not necessary to take a route of going over the windbreak wall 2 and entering the interior surrounded by the windbreak wall 2, so that the entry route of the packet is shortened. Therefore, the round trip route and time between the packet hopper 1 and the cargo ship can be shortened, and cargo handling efficiency can be improved.

In order to reduce cargo handling efficiency, by eliminating the side of the windbreak wall facing the approach route, the wind from the sea that attempts to enter from that side is blocked by the water belly generated by water sprinkling from the water sprinkler 4. It is prevented or weakened, and there is less dust-up by the wind. Furthermore, the water film produced by the water sprinkler 4 prevents the slightly raised dust from flowing out to the outside, so that the dustproof function is not impaired.

As described above, according to the present invention, the approach path of the container carrying the material to be thrown into the hopper onto the hopper is short, and it is possible to prevent dust from flowing out from the approach path, thereby increasing cargo handling efficiency.
