The circuit 1 has an adding circuit 101 and a voltage controlling amplifier VCA102, and the addition output is applied to a speaker 4 throgh amplifiers 2 and 3. In respect to the output of the amplifier 2, a signal corresponding to the signal applied to the speaker is inputted to one input of a level comparator 8 by an amplifier 5, a detector 6, and a logarithmic converter 7. Meanwhile, in respect to a signal due to a mike 9, a signal corresponding to the sum of space acoustic energy and noise energy is inputted to the other input of the comparator 8 by an amplifier 10, a detector 11, and a logarithmic converter 21. The output of the comparator 8 is used as the signal CONT. By this constitution, when the masking phenomenon tries to start, the acoustic level is increased to perform a good correction on an auditory impression.
