Abstract
PURPOSE: To maintain the rust-preventive properties of welding wire contained in a lrarge quantity in a pack and to enable the direct connection of a conduit by sticking the end of said wire pulled out through a hole located in the center of the top plate on its outside.
CONSTITUTION: A conduit connector 16 with a wire outlet hole is provided in the center of the top plate 14. The leading end of wire, 6a, pulled out through said hole is fastened by adhesive tape 15 on the top plate 14 and the wire outlet hole 14a is closed also by adhesive tape 15. A retainer plate 7 is provided on the top of the layered wire 6. On the upper side of said retainer plate is placed an elastic piece 7a which is allowed to slide down by itsown weight on the wall of the cylindrical case 2 to prevent the wire 6 from springing upward. As rust- preventive means for this pack, rust-preventive paper is spread on the bottom plate or an appropriate amount of rust-preventive oil is sprayed to provide a seal.
