Abstract
PURPOSE:To utilize the space in a change-gear case to a large extent as well as accommodate a vibration absorbing unit of a large capacity by supporting a torsional vibration absorbing unit by an exclusive-use, intermediate shaft in the case. CONSTITUTION:An input gear 7 is engaged with a traveling gear 10 on an output shaft 4 coupled with an input shaft 2 through the first to third driving gear train for low speed, (9-1), (9-2), and (9-3), as well as a backward driving gear train (9-R). A vibration absorbing unit 6 is coupled with the input shaft 2 only when the low speed driving train (9-1), (9-2), and (9-3) as well as the backward driving gear train (9-R), which are subject to torque fluctuation, have been established. An output gear 8 is engaged with a fixed gear 11 on the output shaft 4 inserted in the fifth driving gear train (9-5) for high speed. These contrivances dispense with the gears on the output shaft 4, exclusive use for coupling, thus a compact arrangement can be achieved.
