Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve friction-resiting by applying to the surface of a base material a lubricating covering material compounded of grease lubricating oil, good-friction thermoplastic resin solvent, resol modified polyamide and so on in such a manner as to be suitable for a friction material and by drying it to form a lubricating covering layer. CONSTITUTION:A base material is a grease lubricant prepared by synthetic lubricating oil and an organic synthetic compound. A built-in lubricant A is made by adding low-friction grease lubricant and polyamidoresin polution to the base material. A surface hardening lubricant B is made by adding resol modified polyamidophenol solution and synthetic lubricating oil to the base material. A surface lubricant C is made by adding synthetic lubricant oil to the built-in lubricant A. These lubricants are selected corresponding to for what a sliding friction material is used. Application 6 of the selected lubricant to a thermoplastic resin base material sheet and heat-drying 22 of it are continuously repeated several times to form a high oleo-lubricating coating layer, and made thereby to be adaptable to loads and sliding speeds, resulting in an improvement of friction-resisting property.
