Abstract
PURPOSE: To simplify and cost down the take-up mechanism in such a way that one scroll-shape is formed by combining a reel chuck which has both holding function and driving transmission function in the compact form with a hollow reel.
CONSTITUTION: A reel chuck C is assembled by a sleeve 6 equipped with an air passage inside, a toothed wheel 11, a ring-shaped tube 16, and a boss part 12 equipped with a lug 18, etc. A reel (A) and chucks C, C are integrated into one scroll-shape in such a way that when the reel chucks C, C are inserted at both ends of a hollow reel (A), and compressed air is injected into the air passage 20, a tube 16 is expanded and a lug 18 is brought into pressed contact with the inner wall of the reel (A), and they are reliably held together. Then, when the sleeve 6 of the chuck C is depressed into the depressing part F', the toothed wheel 11 is engaged with a toothed wheel 23, power is transmitted to the reel (A), and multiple row take-up is done for slit narrow sheet-shaped material.
