Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent a spring from being twisted, by embedding longitudinally the spring wire partially in a resilient member. CONSTITUTION:The coil spring 1 is positioned approximately concentrically with a cushioning mechanism (d), and the opposite ends thereof connected to a body (b) and a support post (c) of the cushioning mechanism (d) respectively through spring seats (f, g). The coil spring 1 comprises a body 3 that has been formed by winding the spring wire 2. A covering section 4 is located circumferentially at a prescribed region in which the spring wire 2 is embedded longitudinally and partially. The covering section 4 is made of a resilient and deformable material, and is provided along the full length of the body 3. Accordingly, the twisting of the coil spring between the cushioning mechanism body (b) and the support post (c) can be prevented.
