Abstract

CONSTITUTION: A heat-insulating plate 4 is provided between a carburetter 6 and a suction manifold 2. Besides, an intake air heater vessel 14 is held between them to be positioned in the heat-insulating plate 4. The vessel 14 is provided with a cylindrical inner cylinder 15 and outer cylinder 16 inside and outside, and cntains a PTC element 33 and an elastic electrode 29 inside. A film 56 made of carbon material is inserted closely between the outside of the inner cylinder 15 and the inside of the PTC element 33.
