Abstract

PURPOSE: Heat insulation glass for window penes with such a structure that vacuum tubes arranged in a plane are placed at the center and glass plates surround them with the spaces formed between the tubes and the glass plates to keep the air stationary in the spaces, thus increasing heat insulation.
CONSTITUTION: Vacuum tubes 2 arranged in a row are covered with glass plates 4 on both front and back surfaces so that spaces 3 are formed so as not to cause air convection in them. Further, cartridges contatining a desiccant such as silica gel are demountably fitted between the glass plates 4 and the vacuum tubes 2. The resultant heat insulating glass is set to the window frame air- tightly through a sponge tape to make a heat-insulation window.
