Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain rich interval outputs accompanying beats owing to mutual frequency differences by producing plural proximate interval sounds simultaneously. CONSTITUTION:When sound length and interval data are riden in a data bus 70 and a trigger signal is applied to an input terminal 106, the sound length and interval data are latched via decoders 72, 80 in latch circuits 74, 82. As a result, the output pulses coinciding with the sound length data are outputted to a line 116 from a sound length comparator 76. Interval counters 90, 92 count the signals of interval reference frequency signal 96, 98 respectively, and the respective interval frequencies are outputted from interval comparators 86, 88, and are respectively amplified 108, 110 via AND gates 108, 110, after which they are outputted as interval sounds by sounding bodies 112, 114. Here, if the frequencies of the sources 96 and 98 are slightly varied, the sounds outputted from the bodies 112, 114 are outputted by having frequency differences at the same rate. As a reslt, the sounds produced from the two sounding bodies are synthesized in space and reach the human ears as the rich interval outputs accompanying beats.
