Abstract
PURPOSE:To permit sure and firm mounting of an anvil by the constitution wherein an anvil consisting of natural diamond is disposed on a support ring of a superhard alloy, a holder ring and a reinforcing ring are provided around the anvil and these are formed into one body. CONSTITUTION:A holder ring is constituted of the 1st ring 2 of sintered diamond, and the 2nd ring 3 of a superhard alloy toward the outer side with an anvil 1 as a center, and the three consisting of the anvil 1, the 1st ring 2 and the 2nd ring 3 are formed into one body respectively when the 1st ring 2 is sintered at ultrahigh pressure and high temp. A support ring 14 is juxtaposed on one end face side of these three, and a reinforcing ring 15 made of steel is fitted to the outside circumferential side of the 2nd ring 3, and these are formed into one body over the entire part.
