Abstract
PURPOSE:To stably supply a low output voltage, by dividing a forward voltage Vbe between base and emitter of a transistor (TR) through resistors as a reference voltage of an IC and adding a voltage difference between a TR with different current density and the Vbe. CONSTITUTION:A TRQ5, resistors R4, R5 and constant current source IO constitute a constant voltage circuit raking (e) as a reference voltage. A TRQ6 having emitter area greater by several times than that of the TRQ5 is connected to the output, to obtain a constant voltage across the R6 without temperature dependency. With this constitution, a part of the voltage Veb5 is taken out through the resistance ratio of the R4, R5, and a reference voltage with a comparatively low value can be obtained across the R6 by directly adding the voltage difference itself between the TRQ5, Q6 for the compensation of temperature coefficient. Thus, a stable low output voltage can be obtained at an output voltage Vout only with the forbidden band voltage of the TR5 and the resistance ratio.
